Our History

Honouring the past, inspiring tomorrow.

From the beginning, the Business Improvement Association set out with a clear goal: to nurture Austin Heights as a thriving community by strengthening existing relationships and building new ones for a prosperous future. This commitment has helped shape the neighbourhood into a vibrant hub where businesses and residents grow together. Austin Heights itself is one of Coquitlam’s more established neighbourhoods, conveniently located on Austin Avenue and Ridgeway Avenue between Blue Mountain Street and Gatensbury Street. Over the years, it has blossomed into a bustling commercial district filled with specialty shops, professional services, and an ever-growing selection of restaurants serving local fare. This rich diversity of businesses makes Austin Heights a destination worth exploring for everyday needs or enjoying a leisurely walk with the whole family.
