About Bike to Shop
From August 7 – 20, 2021, local businesses in 20 neighbourhoods across Metro Vancouver are offering amazing freebies and sweet deals for people biking to their businesses. Half of the neighbourhoods are taking part from August 7-13 and the other half from August 14-20 – so you have plenty of opportunities to explore!

Why Would You Bike to Shop?
Bike to Shop showcases the positive relationship between biking and business, and that biking is good for business and community.

HUB Cycling encourages and supports people by showcasing how easy, fun, and convenient it is to bike to shop, and they do so by helping individuals overcome perceived barriers like how to carry things by bike, lack of knowledge of bike routes to shopping areas, motivation to try for the first time.

Bike to Shop is expanding its geographic reach significantly this year, from two participating municipalities in 2020 to ten this year (and three neighbourhoods to 20!), engaging more suburban communities.

Register Your Business for Bike to Shop
Are you an Austin Heights business looking to get involved with Bike to Shop? If so, we encourage you to register your business today! All Austin Heights businesses are invited to take part in Bike to Shop from August 14-20.
